Democracy is not a spectator sport.
 

As citizens we all have a role in our democracy. Politics isn't easy and many legislators work tirelessly for Floridians. While we don't want to be critical of them individually, we do have a responsibility to monitor them. Their words should match their actions. What they tell one constituent should be the same as what they tell the next. Furthermore, what they say should be their words, their views. It is not acceptable for legislators to simply pass down political party memos on something as important as the education of our children.

So today we watch - what they say and what they do - and we invite you to do the same. We will post relevant letters, emails, interviews and articles from our North Florida Legislative delegation that you send to us. Click on each legislator's name for a link to their websites, campaign contributor list, and comments on education. Send us your stories & let's see what happens to the level of discussion.
